  Tibetan Chupa, 2007 Costume used since the 8th century. Hand woven and embroidered apron and golden screen-printed wrapped jumper representing the 8 auspicious symbols of Buddhism. I collected symbolic objects while in Tibet that have been included in the apron such as praying wheel, prayer papers, incense and yak bone. |
